PCE RVI1 Analog Viscometer 10... 100,000 mPa.s

The viscometer PCE-RVI 1 is used in industrial and research applications to measure the viscosity of fluids such as paints, lacquers, inks, pastes, adhesives, plastics, oils and liquid food products. Under the same conditions, test results from an analog viscometer are as accurate and repeatable as those from a digital viscometer. Therefore, the PCE-RVI 1 offers an affordable solution for viscosity measurement during product and materials testing, development, production and quality control.

Prepare the fluid to be measured and place it in a glass beaker or right-angled container not less than 70 mm in diameter and 130 mm in height. Adjust the lift screw and insert the spindle into the liquid until the level mark on the spindle reaches the surface of the liquid. Connect the power supply, turn on the device, screw the speed knob to select the speed and loosen the pointer joystick. When selecting a rotation speed of 6 or 12 rpm, the last measurement value can be read when the pointer is stable. When selecting a rotation speed of 30 or 60 rpm, after the pointer is stable, press the pointer joystick, cut off the power supply, and then read the last measurement value.
